The World of Healthcare
Michael Moore does a type of documentary movie on the various types of healthcare around the world. One thing that he proves is the fact that American healthcare sucks. They have to pay for everything themselves, half the time people don’t even have anywhere near enough to pay for what they need. He proves in this movie that almost every other country has better healthcare than the United States of America. In England services are free, in fact, you get paid if you had to take public transportation to get to the hospital. In pharmacies in the UK, medicine is free for those under 16 or over 60 and moderately low (roughly $10 a prescription) for those in between. It is a publicly funded healthcare system, which is more than I can say for the US private healthcare system.
In France, it is very similar to England and Canada. Other than the fact that you can get a government employed nanny if you work, to clean your house, take care of your kids, etc. for no cost at all to you. Now that is service, just have to wait until Canada implements that into the “system”. For vacations in France as well, they give you a minimum of 5 weeks, paid vacation. That is a MINIMUM of 5 weeks! He then proves the fact that even Cuba has a better healthcare system by taking a few boatloads of sick people to Cuba to get treated in hospitals, as well as to get medicine that normally costs them hundreds of dollars in the states. Well, I guess that is all, good luck finding reasonable healthcare if you are in the states, if you aren’t, then you are lucky, especially if you live in France.
